2009 is VERY Unlikely.
Considering how long it took them to do GTA 4, I can't see the next installment coming this year.
The only way I can see that as being even remotely possible is if it's one of those side story games
And when you put it in the light you did (as in it's a big release right up there with the best of the other ps3 bigs) then yeah, maybe it does need collector's edition.
But there is just so much moaning and whining about everyone milking customers with collector edition's that I don't blame them for not having one.
They made the 360 list look much bigger than the ps3 list by adding all those multi platform games to the 360 list and leaving those same games out of the ps3 list
I don't see why this is a big deal.
There are so many people that cry and whine about "companies are milking us with collector editions" So now that a game has no higher costing collector's edition people want to whine?
Do some of you realize how many people are always saying the extras aren't even worth the extra money?
Don't get me wrong, I would have LOVED a collector's edition. But it's nothing to gripe about either
This is fox news we're talking about after all. So what Motorstorm was and Wipeout HD was mention yet LBP wasn't.
Unless you actually take fox news of all places seriously for your video game information.
I can say I've had more "LAG" on my 360. And even if PSN had more lag (which it doesn't), it's not like it's paid for. 360 owners however pay and STILL have lag.
Now stop being a troll because you do nothing but make yourself look bad. And out of curiosity, do you actually HAVE a ps3, or are you just talking BS based off stuff you read on the internet?
See, ps3 owners can CHOSE not to buy virtual furniture or not. It doesn't hinder them in ANY way. And they aren't penalized in ANY way.
What IS ridiculous however is when you have NO choice but to pay just for the "privilege" of playing games online. Especially when you consider you have to pay for the internet to begin with
There is always a bias against Sony. No matter what they do, it's considering wrong
When they're right, they're wrong
and when they're wrong, they're WROOOOOOOONG.
Even now, Sony is making money off HOME pretty fast. And now they are proposing GIVING away money from it, yet somehow they are STILL seen in a negative way.
Ridiculous isn't it?
Don't sweat it man. The internet is a hive of misinformation.
But regardless, the game will find it's way into my ps3. So they can be as fake as they wanna be for all I care lol
NOBODY should base their judgment on "reviews". They're just people's opinion. They aren't any more valid than your own opinion.
But I forget. People "trust" these reviewers judgment (people who don't know them or never even met btw) and let them tell them what they should spend their hard earned money on.
I'm getting this game even if everyone gives it a 0 out of 5. I ONLY trust my own opinion. Nobody else
I can't see a damn thing either lol.
And secondly, this is a newspaper "review" with just three short paragraphs.
And Capital G, I posted my source in my first comment. I noticed you replied and STILL didn't post yours. Yet you say "most" people agreed with you (judging by your agree/disagree ratio I find that hard to believe). And you don't have as many "phantom disagrees" as you think considering a bunch of people owned you for your blatant fanboyism
its 4/5. NOT 4/10
Secondly, if you are saying Opm (official playstation magazine) gave the game 5/10, then show your proof. Because MY proof comes from an anti sony site (Kotaku) and even THEY show OPM gave it a 5/5

Stop being a trolling fanboy and do something useful with your life next time capital G
And P.S., you might not...
Stuff like this is exactly why people say "Sony says they have a halo killer"
Some random blogger or journalist "labels" Killzone as a "halo killer". Then the media follows suit and does the same thing. And then when killzone 1 didn't turn out as planned, then everyone says "I thought sony said they had a halo killer".
Media and bloggers make bold claims and then blame the company if their "expectations" aren't met. A...
This is why we should all hate Monopolies. With Circuit City gone, Best Buy just might do like you said and violate us with high prices above the norm
If this game turns out good, I really hope it gets the praise and sales it deserves. Nothing annoys me more than when good games sell like crap and shovelware games make a fortune.
It's like basically saying to a developer if you don't give a damn about what you make, you'll get rich and if you put effort and care into your product, your effort will go unnoticed.
And thanks, you just reminded me of Uncharted and God of War ( I can't believe I forgot those)
Just remember if you are a ps3 owner you don't need to debate. It's Motorstorm 2 / Pure all over again
If you have ps3, at least you have the ability to own both
I'm not so sure on that one. But then again, it comes down to opinion.
In fact, now that I think about it, I can't think of any GOTY candidates aside from Killzone 2 at the moment. Heavy Rain and Alan Wake we need to see more of. FF 13 might not even be out this year. Those are just GOTY possible contenders off the top of my head.
But in my opinion, saying Prototype is a possible GOTY contender might be a bit much. Again, just my opinion
All this does is further "enforce" the stereotype of "it's games fault"
The bottom line is maybe parents should do more "parenting" and stop letting games do their job for them. Everything gets blamed on games. Not a single one of these parents have taken the responsibility to say "maybe I should have spent more time with my child".
I love society, it's always someone else fault.
And now what, if this MS Initiative...
